The thing of it is, I'm head over heels in love with life
2011 ended much better than it started for me, in almost every way. Part of that is because I took the necessary steps to change things that I didn't like (like my apartment), and part of it was due to factors beyond my control. For everything that's improved - my living space, my cat's health, Eddie's job situation, etc - I am grateful.
This year, the story that I tell myself about myself will largely revolve around being healthier, with the end goal of - if it is at all within my power (and of course when I am telling myself the story, it is) - finally overcoming this idiopathic intracranial hypertension of mine and being able to live like people without chronic illnesses do, which is to say: more spontaneously and with less pain.
I'm also woefully shamed by how few pictures I've taken this year, so at least once a month I'm going to go somewhere or do something conducive to taking pictures and getting better at photography. First up: Boston's Chinese New Year parade on the 29th. I am very much looking forward to it!
