Okay, my day? She has been made :)
In the interesting thread in Bonci's journal on Realms and fight practice, I was told the following by someone I like and respect very much:
You do kick ass as a healer and repair armor? right? I've seen you in the thick of combat doing that essential skill. I remarked to Jarrod one day after seeing the machine work a bridge battle and I said, she's the oil that keeps all those other parts moving. It was quite surreal to watch all the fighters literally cycle around you like you were some kind of wizard conjuring them all.
And then in response to my "Awwww, really?"
It hard not to notice this petite little thing amid the giants encased in armor and right there behind the line laying hands on all the fighters. Always in danger of getting trompled by them but standing fast doing her job.
Oh and you're cute too, so faced with the choice of watching those big sweaty guys with the dirt and chainmail stains all over them, I'll always choose the cute chick.
