We walked hand in hand back to my house, well, our house now I guess. Sian clung on to me the entire way, tears streaming down her face. I knocked the door loudly, before turning to cup Sian's face and kissing her softly.
"It's going to be ok Sian. We're together, that's all that matters" I whispered soothingly to her. "Yeah?"
She nodded and the corners of her lips turned up slightly. "Yeah" she breathed.
The door opened and mum stood there. Her eyes widened and her hand flew to her chest.
"Oh my god. What happened to you?" she asked, ushering us inside quickly.
We collapsed on the sofa and told her what had happened. She stayed silent the entire time, her face blank. Dad had come in halfway through and was shaking visibly with anger.
"I'll kill him" he growled, clenching and unclenching his fists.
"Dad, Tyrone and Ashley were calling the police, he's probably at the station now." I said, my voice trembling slightly.
Sian wrapped an arm around me and I relaxed instantly. My parents took that as their cue to leave and left us alone.
"You were amazing back there" she mumbled, tucking a strand of my hair behind my ear.
I frowned and linked our fingers together. "I would do anything to protect you" I said. "Even if it means charging at your drunk dad."
She giggled slightly before her eyes watered again.
"Hey, hey" I soothed, wiping the tears away quickly. "What's wrong?"
"If he'd have hurt you. I-I couldn't have lived with myself. I don't want to live if it means living without you Soph, and that scares me. I've never felt like this about anyone. I never thought it was possible." She said, her voice shaky.
I silenced her with a kiss and pulled away to stare intently in her eyes. "I am never, ever going to leave you Sian Powers. I am so in love with you that it would be physically impossible to do so, not that I would want to anyway. You are the best thing that has ever happened to me and I'm not letting you go. Ever."
Tears rolled down her face and she pulled me closer, crashing her lips against mine. This was different to any other kisses we'd ever had, this put all the others to shame. It was like we was finally giving all of ourselves to each other, no holding back.
Rosie
I sat on the top of the staircase watching them getting it on on the sofa. I never knew how in love they actually are with each other, I don't think anyone does really. Their little speeches were so bloody serious, like, dead serious. I could totally see Sian jumping off a cliff to save Soph and vice versa. A smile made its way onto my face and I turned to go back into my room to give them some privacy.
