**Synopsis
After his mother is brutally murdered in front of him by the Thai criminal syndicate Cheongbang, Lee Soo-hyun ( Lee Jun Ki) is adopted into NIS agent Jung-ho’s family. Together with Min-gi ( Jung Kyung Ho), Jung-ho’s son, Soo-hyun becomes an NIS agent. Soo-hyun met Ji-woo ( Nam Sang Mi) when they were about 12 years old and has another fateful encounter with her 13 years later. Together they had promises for the future. One day, Soo-hyun leaves for an operation dealing with the Cheongbang, only to return in failure because of the resurfacing terrible childhood memories of when he was in Thailand. The chief of NIS agents, Jeong, proposes to the distraught Soo-hyun to infiltrate the Cheongbang. Through Chief Jeong’s proposition, Soo-hyun becomes an undercover NIS agent after staging his death (car accident). Hiding his past, Soo-hyun infiltrates the Cheongbang with revenge in mind, leaving Ji-woo behind. Under the pseudo-name of Kay, he passes through the backstreets of Bangkok. What Soo-hyun didn't know was Ji-woo is the daughter of the same villain, who killed his mother and father. Meanwhile Min-gi has fallen in love with Ji-woo. Soo-hyun, now known as Kay, heard that Mao likes Muay Thai (Thailand Boxing aka King Boxing), so Kay becomes a Muay Thai athlete hoping Mao would see him. Mao does come to one Muay Thai game, Kay loses the match but over-hears conversation between Cheongbong's Mini Boss trying to kill Mao. When Mao went up to the stage to honor the champion, the assassin aims at him but Kay saves Mao. Mao then took Kay as his right-hand man. Mao and his gang goes to Korea to expend their drug business. They make a company called BS Enterprise. Kay's mission was to protect Ji-Woo from the Korean gang, Spider. The Spider Boss tries to kidnapp Ji-Woo but Soo-Hyun protected her. When Ji-Woo saw him in the car she was in lot of shock. He hid her from the Spider Gang by dropping her off behind the container. Soo-hyun gets shot in the head and loses control and his car falls into the sea. He wakes up in wise old-lady's house, but he lost all of his memories.

My rate : 4/5

I was pretty skeptical at first because there is no 'pretty' faces and the thought of real serious drama.
Well the genre are action and romance. Of course it will be serious, right?
My colleague lent me the dvd and since I have all the time in the world to finish it, why not?

It turned to be one serious Korean drama  that could keep my butt still in the couch.
The story is not boring and many twisted plots in between!
No bucket of tears, not much silly smiles.
All is about fate and forgiveness.

If you are wondering, yes.. what is this 'Time between dog and wolf'?
Time between dog and wolf, was taken from a french expression entre chien et loup (between dog and wolf).
Here is a good explanation which really describes the plot of the drama.

"The time of dogs and wolves - L'heure entre chien et loup - (French) is seen when dusk becomes night as the sun slowly wanes between the mountain ridges. This is the time when day and night exist together.

This is the time when objects become dim to sight, and from far away, the lingering approach of a silhouette can be seen. Friend or foe. Or someone who protects. Or just a dangerous wolf...

This is the moment when both the righteous and errant paths all become crimson.

This is the time when friend or foe are indistinguishable, and it is in which the epic story about the defiance, surrender, love, and friendship of young agents takes place."

I love it..
