Counting My Blessings

It's time for another gratitude post, friends. And I have a lot to be grateful for!

My Son's Health. My boy is big. Tall, but also wide. We met with a Pediatric Endocrinologist last week, to see if he was diabetic or had a thyroid problem. We're still waiting on the results of his bloodwork, but he's not even pre-diabetic (whew!) and the doctor ( Read more... )

Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries, eh? I'll have to check it out :D I'm not even sure what it's about, but if you like it...yes.

I'm so glad things are going well for you, bb ♥

Thanks, sweetie! ::hugs::

I want EVERYONE to watch Miss Fisher. LOL! Everyone, dammit!

How are things going with you? How's the new job working out? Still no radio?

I've added it to my To Watch list :) I'm not sure when I'll get the time to watch, but I will do it~

The new job is working out well! I love not having to wait on customers anymore. Walmart schedules me to work 9 hours a day and give me an hour break (plus two 15 minute breaks), which is nice, but it also makes for some really long days. I want to go down to 3 days a week, but I worry about if I'll be able to pay the bills....

Some days I get a radio - and other days I don't. They haven't said, "You need to listen!" to me for a couple days, which is nice. Still, sometimes even with a radio, I have a hard time making out what they're saying. Basically: It's exhausting, but better than Subway.

I'm glad things are going well at Walmart! Even if you don't have a radio every day. ::grins::

Nine hours is a long day, I agree. I do an 8.5 hour shift Sundays at the deli, which starts at 6:30am, and I'm about dead by the time I get home. ::fistbump of long shift solidarity::

Are you all done with Subway now, or still pulling a shift there from time to time?

I work about 4 hours per week at Subway, since I have no idea if Walmart is going to screw me over post-holiday season. Plus, it means I get a check every single week - though my Subway checks are never much - and that's really nice. I'm just always so tired now lol.

I'm sorry you work 8.5 hours on Sundays :\ Can you at least go home and nap? That's what I do on Sundays, since I know I have every Monday off for school.

At the very moment, I am halfway through my 4 day work streak. Two more days to go, and then I can catch up on sleep...

It's always good to hedge your bets. ::nods::

I actually don't mind the Sunday shift all that much, besides the early hour. It's the only time I get to work days, which I like, and then I only have to work two evening shifts during the week to make all my hours. But yeah, there's usually napping afterwards. LOL!

Tired is my world. I'm with you there. ::fistbump of zzzzzzzzz::
