Need:
1 Peavey PVM 22
1 mic stand w/boom
1 mic cable (20 ft)
4 Galaxy Audio Hot Spot Monitors
4 Low-profile mic stands (w/o boom)
4 speaker cables (15-20 ft)
Want:
1 Peavey Valveking 112
1 Fender Acoustasonic 30 DSP
1 Gallien-Krueger 2x10 bass cab
1 Gallien-Krueger 1x15 bass cab
I have to pull one microphone from the sanctuary now, down from three. However, I really don't want to pull any.
I'm having to pull two hot spots and my floor wedge; again, I don't want to pull any, especially since the floor wedge is too powerful for the room.
And the amps are just cool:
The Valveking has a very warm sound, and its 50 tube watts are more than enough to get a good sound in the mix during Sunday sets. It also means my practice amp could stay in the youth chapel, or come with me -- one less thing to move around.
The Acoustasonic is a great acoustic amp -- warm, clean, and again, powerful enough to make it heard on Sundays. The small acoustic amp we have at the church could then stay in the youth chapel.
The bass cabs would work well with my GK Backline 600 head, and are light enough to move around without killing my back. Or, you know, leave them in the chapel and just move the head over. That way we'd actually have a bass amp in there.
Oh; I should probably throw a couple acoustics in there, simply because of this little fact: I'm going to be working on learning the blues, and that will include alternate tunings. Multiple tunings will be a pain in the butt without multiple guitars.
