A very important person in my life was hurt badly in a car accident and is currently in a coma. At one point in my life I was beyond depressed and then I came across a group of people that in a second can make you feel like you've got everything in the world that you'll ever need. racheylish is such an important part of that group. You can read about what happened here. I just found out and managed to sneak out of work to my car to speak to lonelystar_. I can't come on aim to check on the rest of you but I will be on tonight.
The OMC has been through a lot together. Over the years we've been through our own personal issues and had each others support. We've fought with each other and then made up because fighting is a learning curve as well. The thing that keeps us strong is that no matter what happens we're always around for each other. Yes, over the past couple of years we've been a lot busier with life, mostly because we're growing up. Most of us are in college or in full time employment now, or we've got a lot of family related stuff. The fact of the matter is that if someone put us all in to a room together it'd be like no time has passed, we'd be the same OMC we were years ago when we all first came together.
We are strong as individuals but as a group we're pretty damn unstoppable. Here's the thing. Right now, at this moment in time one of us needs the rest more than before. racheylish is a huge part of what makes us the people we are and although we're so far away from each other and from her right now we can still do something for her.
So today and every day afterwards until I know that she's going to be ok, I will say a little prayer for racheylish and I ask everyone else to do the same. Even if you don't know her she needs our thoughts and our prayers and our hope to help her. Spend a minute thinking about her and about some moment that you shared with her.
I honestly truly believe that she is going to be ok. She's going to pull out of the coma and it's going to be a long recovery but she will recover. Rachey has been through so much and she is strong and she will survive this.
I sent out a text to M,Becca, Liss and Kev. I don't know if it worked but hopefully it did. I will be on aim tonight and I hope some of you are on because I need you guys in order to be able to process this properly.
I was going to send flowers from us but then I thought flowers don't last so I'm going to put together an OMC gift for her. We can discuss that tonight though if any of you are on.
