Anime - I've always been in to anime, even before I actually knew it was anime. lol. I guess the first sort of semi anime I watched was Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors. I was obsessed with it as a kid and I wouldn't call it a full anime but since it is Japanese made it is sort of anime. My very first proper anime fandom was Sailor Moon. I'd come home after school and turn on Fox Kids and just sit and watch it non-stop. Sometimes my parents and grandparents would be sitting with me and they wouldn't be allowed to watch anything till Sailor Moon was finished. haha. I still love it beyond belief. It's where I actually got my most common username from 'silvercrystal'. As in a few episodes she calls the moon crystal 'silvercrystal'.
Charmed - A show about girls kicking ass? Of course I'd watch it! I think it was season 2 when I started watching Charmed. It was around the time I was beginning to get into tv show fandoms. My first one was Roswell which was followed by Buffy and then Charmed. Sometimes the episodes were completely stupid and left you going 'huh! wtf!' but even with the cheese I loved it. Piper was always my favourite character although Paige came a close second. As for couples. Piper & Leo = <3 of course! And I like Paige and Henry.
Doctor Who - Wheee! The Doctor! My first memories of Doctor Who are the scarf and Daleks! I would watch it with my grandpa, who watched the best tv! I would also watch Dallas with him and I also remember watching the star wars movies and Indiana Jones movies with him. This was all on tv, not the cinema. He can't actually speak that much english but he can understand some of it so we can still watch stuff he likes together! But yes! SO I remembered it from when I was a kid but in my teenage years it wasn't a big thing. Then I heard they were bringing it back and got excited until I found out Billie was the new assistant and I was very sceptical. How glad am I that I was proven wrong about that? I adore her, I think she's one of my favourite assistants and the show is one of the best things on tv. Thanks to a great cast, especially Jack. ^__^ I also love the fandom so much more because it has helped me grow closer to some friends - Kim! Becca and Becca's friend Laur.
Evanescence My Immortal was the first song I heard by them and I remember saying to Q 'omg this song is awesome' and she was just 'it sucks' and then a few months down the line she was obsessed with it. See! I know things! I have good intuition! But yes! I haven't listened to this band for a while but I was obsessed with them when I was 16. I had all the albums and I'd use the lyrics in art and I wanted to wear everything that Amy wore yet I couldn't. Once Ben left the band I sort of lost interest though.
Ghosts - I believe in ghosts and I have done ever since I was a kid. Then again this is the girl that thought she had a leprachaun living in her wall till she was about 7. But back to ghosts! We lived in a street called Baliol Street when I was 8, I think. The houses on that street are old but I've heard that in the old old days it used to be a burial site and after/before that it was stables. Anyway, so I was upstairs in my room on my own doing my homework and then I look up and I see this little girl dressed in a very victorian style walk past me and through my wall. I, of course, didn't think twice and almost crapped myself as I ran downstairs. I never went upstairs on my own again. However, I wasn't the only one to see her, my sisters had seen her on seperate occasions and it wasn't till years later when we compared stories that we realised that we saw the same person.
Also about 6 years ago my uncle died. I wasn't close to him or anything and he lived in Pakistan but after he died I had a dream with him in it. Shortly after that dream stuff started moving about in my room. I was very into aromatherapy at this stage and at one point on the way home I was thinking about burning some ylang ylang when I got home. So once I got home I saw my oil burner was covered in oil. I check my oils and my ylang ylang is pretty much empty. I ask my mother, the only person that was home, if she went into my room and she hadn't been in at all. So from that day on I started to call the ghost in my room fred! At times other stuff would happen, like I'd ask my sisters to close the curtains and they wouldn't move to do it, when I turned around they'd be closed. I'm pretty much used to him now though. If stuff goes missing and I get really annoyed it turns up back where I left it the next day. Some may say I'm crazy, I think it's kind of nice.
Last ghost story! When my aunt died I could swear I could feel her around me. Then one day while I was over at my cousins Sasha asked me to close the door for the sun lounge. This was during one of the nights of the week of Rosh's wedding. So I went to check to see if any of the kids were in the lounge and they weren't and just as I was closing the door I could swear I saw her sitting on the couch in the lounge. And it was that way where I had already closed the door before it had fully registered in my mind so when I opened it again she as gone. I like to believe that it was her. That she'd come to be with her daughter during her wedding.

Linkin Park - Ooh my depression music. Linkin Park were the band who inducted me into the world of metal. Before then I was a boyband loving weirdo. After Linkin Park I started to totally love the metal scene and they helped me through a lot. I was very angry between the ages of 14 - 17 and they would soothe that anger. By 6th year my friend Sara knew that if I was listening to Linkin Park it meant that something was wrong. I also feel like at each stage in my life they release a new album and that album seems to coincide with how I feel and the person I am during that point of my life. It's just one of those bands that evolve and I seem to evolve at the same rate as them.
Mythology - Stories are my passion and mythology is exactly that - awesome stories about these weird and wonderful things/events etc.... I've always loved mythology of any kind, any story with a magical sort of element to it draws me in and I think that's why I love the alternative side of things so much. Greek mythology with the gods and godesses and the muses etc... continues to be a favourite. However, my favourite myths have always revolved around sea life. Ever since I was a kid I've been fascinated by mermaids. I would make my mum rent out this one bollywood movie called Lal Pari (mermaid) allllllll the time as a kid.
Everyone needs at least one Sailormoon icon! Ok so I have more than one, but still! This one I've used a lot. I love it. it's fun yet a little serious, a bit like me sometimes. haha. I think it's a cute one and it's got animation in it so all the more reason to use it!
The best of two worlds - tru calling and buffy! I love Eliza and her choices in shows. Tru Calling was one of the best shows on tv and I'm still pissed off with how they ended it. Kim made me this icon which is why it's so bootiful ^___^ It's one of my favs!
