Thank you for the birthday wishes
I've not been on LJ as much as I should have but thank you all for the birthday wishes. It means a lot that you guys remembered!
The actual day began with election campaigning and then booksale shopping with palelaura and then we went to lunch! It was all loads of fun! We bought lots of books for very cheap. 6 books for £1, I bought 12! and Laura bought me two animes - Kiki's Delivery Service and Only Yesterday. The cousins and grandparents came over in the evening which was good as I spent most of my time talking to Sasha. We're like a couple of middle aged women and then Shabiha sits and listens to us talk and laughs at our overly affectionate nature.
Got money and loads of presents. I'll do a present run down later on as I'm too lazy to do so now. But! pinkparadox I got the package today! Heeeee! Thank you so much, I've been wanting to read Prozac Nation for so very long and the fact that it's one of your favs makes me certain that I'm gonna love it. ^__^ I've just got one more thing to get for you and then I'll have yours in the post on monday morning but I'm going to try and express post it so it gets to you asap.
Had a good day today as I met Arifa in the morning and she's got some stuff coming up that I'm helping her out with. It also means that I get to network and she's so very much like me in a lot of ways so it's nice to know I'm not alone in my struggle for freedom from the constraints of life. Then I met the always wonderful and amazing eternitybreaks and we never run out of things to talk about as the waitress at TGI's will tell you as she came over about 5 times and each time we were like 'we've not looked at the menu yet' because we were too busy talking. lol. She spoiled me with lunch as she is wonderful and we've decided we need to go see a movie soon so we're going to try and get that arranged.
And now I must get back to poster designing so I'll update properly soon. I just had to do a quick 'spill your thoughts out' LJ post.
