Medical Update
Last night was a bit rocky. I got to bed at about midnight; Nap was out of bed at about 12:30, and didn't return. I suspect he spent the night worrying if the levees were going to hold. As it was, I found several gauze squares in the bathroom wastebasket, spotted with blood; obviously, his eye was at least seeping blood through the night.
The doctors still aren't sure exactly what happened, whether the rupture was on the interior or exterior of his eyelid, but when he returned to the doctors this afternoon, they verified that there are still traces of blood in his tears. The worst seems to be over, but the doctors want him to check in for the next few days to monitor him.
