Another bump
As I was pulling into the PDQ yesterday, they were in the process of posting a change in gas prices. It went up four cents since Monday, to $2.39. I had failed to notice that this was the second time this week they had raised the price, as it was $2.37 on Wednesday (Per state law, they can only change the price once every 24 hours).
I'm not sure if it's law or merely a sense of fair play, but I've also learned that there's a definite order to how they go about changing the prices. If the price goes up, they post the change on the marquee before changing it on the pump; if the price drops, they change the price on the pump prior to changing the marquee. Either way, the customer gets the lower price...at least for a few minutes.
