Tree Girt Sea 12th Night.

Had a good time at TGS 12th Night this weekend. Ma and I crashed at Elena's house and she road with us to the event. The day went by really fast, before I knew it it was time for feast, which was really good btw. The best tasting duck and venison I have ever had. By the end of the day I was pretty sore and tired from going up and down the stairs at the site.

Woke up in the morning feeling like I had fought the day before. Was tempted to head home with how I felt and the fact that we had to drive a hour back to Chicago to go to the fight practice. By the time we finished breakfast at Elena's the Fighter Candy (Ibuprofin) had done its job so we leaded back to Chicago for fight practice.

Thanks to my back going out in October and not really being totally back in place till the week of Chrsitmas I am back to the reconditioning phase again. The muscles of my low back are tightining up when I stand and walk for any length of time. Was able to fight 1-3 passes at a time and then had to sit let the back muscles relax. It was a good sized practice and I was there from about noon to 4pm so I got in a lot of bouts and got to fight a whole bunch of people. It was probably the best conditioning I could do. Fight, Rest, Fight... I felt bad about not being able to give my best to my opponants and also wished I could have gotten in more fighting though.

Now I'm really looking forward to going to the Flaming Gryphon Practice Thursday with Magrat. Heard they had around 30 people last week and I give as many as I can a fight even if it is one or two passes.
