i haven't updated in almost a week. that's weird for me. even if nothing happens, i usually find a way to ramble about nothing.

friday i went to the college thing at church. the freebirds were premade so i couldn't leave the beans off. way to ruin a good thing. freebirds is amazing. pat spoke and he was entertaining as usual. wise words too. he told us to enjoy our journeys. we're at the age when we stop paying attention to life the way kids do, so i appreciated that reminder. oh pat.

my sister laura had a softball tournament on the weekend and her team won 3 games in a row on sunday. they're like olympians or something! they had to play them back to back, and they lost the fourth game because they were so tired. it's a competitive team, which means she's amazing.

i remember one day brandon came over but i don't remember when. he left me a frustrated IM message, so i called him and talked to him about his bad day, and he decided to come over and play his new songs for me. so he did, and we also talked about musical things since i'm his manager. i'm pushing for him to record something that i'm allowed to play for other people. five songs, three dollars. that's what i want.

monday. hm. how do i forget things so easily? they say the memory is the first thing to go. i don't know who "they" are. but i bet i'm more attractive.

tuesday. today. i went shopping for hawaii things. sunscreen, shampoo, etc. and. i got 2 pairs of sandals. they're pretty amazing. i was holding both pairs in my hands and i couldn't decide which ones i wanted. one was a black pair, and those are practical. they can be worn with everything i own. the other pair had orange/red straps and could be worn with less, but are more exciting to look at. even though you shouldn't look at feet. gross! but i don't buy things i don't have a use for. usually. so after ten minutes of contemplating (i'm pretty sure i'm not exaggerating, it was a long time) i looked at my mom and asked if she would buy one pair. she said yes. "that eases such a burden!" i said. i no longer had to decide. i own both pairs.

oh! right. i played my guitar yesterday and today. it's so nice to have time for that. i'm learning a DAVE BARNES song. true story. and it's beautiful. i love it. "your love will never change." one of his 3 songs about Jesus. and i'm learning the intro to "grace's amazing hands" because i also love that song.

the end.
