It Seemed Like A Good Idea At The Time...
okay, so I hate the phone. I just really, really hate it. I don't mind if I'm talking to somebody that I know pretty well but talking to somebody I don't know or only kinda know: I hate. I don't know why exactly, but I really hate it. so I got offered a job for the rest of the semester as a student recruiter. Basically I would call all the ppl who have been accepted into the BBA program and ask if they are coming for sure, or if they have any questions. Now what I thought was "hey, that's a great way to get over my deep hate for talking on the phone" now that would have been great reasoning if I was in a disney movie, but I'm not so its starting to look like accepting was kinda a dumb idea. I just started today and so far it has been incredibly awkward. lol I have to ask really stupid questions to these unsuspecting people. but hopefully if I say my name fast enough nobody will remember it! haha I mean everybody has been super nice so far (I only made a few calls cause there was all this crap that I had to read through first and make notes on in case they asked me stuff) so that has helped make it less painful, but not less awkward lol oh well. so that was my little rant for the day. I really, really need to go to bed. have a good one!
