Wow, the remake of Prom Night was actually really good. Surprising to see that they could make such a good PG-13 slasher film. I was just watching it to pass the time, and it turned out good.
By the way, I am 100% lying. It is pretty fuckin' awful. It is the king of cutaways and fake scares. It wasn't even awful in an amusing way. Seriously, PG-13 slasher movies just shouldn't happen. Heh, he best part of the movie was when they showed them watching Can't Hardly Wait on tv. PG-13 movies are definitely getting away with more now, but still... just no. Apparently Scream 4 is most likely going to be made now and it is going to be similar to this. They are saying they are hoping to get a younger audience with it and the main example used was Prom Night. That is upsetting. I already wish the 3rd one didn't happen or at least done better and now they wanna make another one like this.
Also, production companies named Original Film and New Market Films should not make remakes.
