Its definitely time.
Here are the highlights since the last time I posted.
~~~ Mark and I moved into the Sigma Chi house last week. Our new room is incredible and CLEAN!!! Mark is a clean FREAK and so he is always putting stuff away for me and picking up the room. I should probably be embarrased that he has to pick up after me b/c its not his job to be my maid, but I'm not. Recently, I've been trying to do better so he doesn't have an opportunity to do it for me. Anyway if you haven't been by to check it out, you should!!!
~~~ The BIG BIG BIG test that I took last Monday evening went well. Apparently I did pretty good on it b/c I haven't heard anything about it. Keep in mind that this is not an academic test, so no news is good news.
~~~ This next week is going to be really wild and wooly so if I seem out of it, sleep deprived, or just otherwise difficult to contact - don't be surprised. If you really think hard enough about it, I'm sure that you can figure out what secretive, week-long event I'm talking about.
~~~ Cheerleading has also been pretty interesting. We've got our new coach, Coach Ussery. So far things haven't been that great, but I'm trying really hard to be paticent and look on the bright side of things. We've got 5 more regular-season games in the year and thats it.
~~~ JanTerm went well. I got an A in Infectious Diseases so I'm really pleased. The class was really interesting but JanTerm itself was kinda boring and the transition from JanTerm to the normal Spring semester was a pretty rough, but now everything is cool.
~~~ I got a ticket in Iuka, MS coming back from Jackson last time that I went home. I was really pissed 'cause its the first one that I've EVER gotten and I was stopped by a Mississippi Hwy Patrolman 300yrds from the Mississippi-Alabama border. I was doing 77 in a 65mph zone. I also got a second ticket 'cause my proof of insurance slip in the car had expired and I didn't have a current slip. So I've got to go to court on Feb 15th at 9am to try and get the fine waved by going to Driving School. Its really going to suck.
~~~ I got a job valleting for AmeriPark last week. I've been looking for a job since the beginning of JanTerm that would suit my schedule and this one just kind of fell into my lap. I've worked several shifts so far and have really enjoyed it, although its sometimes tough to stay warm when you're standing in a cold parking lot all night. I'm expecting a big check this week so hopefully it'll help my current financial situation.
~~~ I got a bill yesterday from Hollywood video for $65!!!!!!!!! Last semester I rented "Something About Mary" and then somehow managed to lose the DVD before I could return it. I'd dare say that my former, piece-of-sh*t suitemate is responcible for the missing DVD, although he adamently denies it. I have no idea how, but one way or another, I've got to make this go away. There is NO WAY I'm asking my parents to cover the fine and right now I'm pretty strapped for cash, especially with my speeding ticket.
