Gaming: Werewolves in the aftermath
This might make a good play-by-post campaign: White Wolf's werewolves in the Europe of Kim Stanley Robinson's The Years of Rice and Salt, starting during or immediately after its depopulation. The werewolves would then scramble to deal with the loss of most of their own kinfolk and the Wyrm's forces run amok, trying to restore a bit of balance before the whole world topples into the Underworld.
