So much has happened since the last time I posted. I only have a minute or two to post, and I can't write a book here.
I went to a "retreat" for Catholic men Thur night through Sunday, at the Visitation Monastery. Reflecting on my roomies snoring, membraneous clickings, extremely loud moanings in his sleep, and other things, I wondered...do I ever want to have a slumbering sexual relationship?
I'm not sure.
I'm a cocoon sleeper anyway, and I have a pretty good time with just myself.
Nevertheless, I did meet many men. There are 61 in the labeled group photo. Well over half are married...with families, daughters, etc. It is a community movement, and I'm now a member.
The theme song for the movement has the phrase, "Joyfully, joyfully we will live in God's friendship because He has willed it." Thus, I joined a Christian community, with millions of members...hundreds in this area, who are likely to share my values...of being a friend and loving others.
I don't know what will come of this, but it seems like a promising beginning. Hugs and gracious conversation, at least!
