Name a CD you own that no-one else on your friends list does.
Probably Eto Silneye Menya, by Гости из будущего. A random Russian CD my parents picked up for me - featuring a blonde Jennifer Aniston lookalike holding an apple, and a slightly pissed-off-looking man with a hello-I'm-sixteen beard.
If you want mildly embarrassing rather than just wilfully obscure, then something like my first ever CD purchase wold probably do: The Shadows - Diamonds.

DVD - I could try Metropolis and hope. VHS - er, Flight Of The Navigator?

I could try Mulholland Drive, merely to see who else has been there. Unusually for an american road, it actually has interesting corners. ;-) And the view from the top is pretty impressive. I drove up Mulholland in my gap year, in the driver's seat of a black Corrado VR6 with black leather interior. Lovely car - brrm!
