Alps Keyswitch Maintenance
In the unlikely event you need to fix/clean an Alps keyswitch, here's a tip (for this model, anyway):
1) Pop off the keycap. This works best with a screwdriver from the left or right, I find
2) Gently prise up the bottom of the metal cap of the keyswitch, which enables you to see the keyswitch's contacts:

3) Clean/fiddle the contacts as needed
4) Done!
