Embarassing (and amusing) Anecdote
So, you may not be aware, but shoes are a part of the Kung Fu uniform at the school I attend. I recently bought a new pair, added laces to them, and was generally happy.
I did what most right-thinking people would do and took my old pair out of my bag. they had earned their rest.
At least that's how I wanted it to happen. I got to class tonight and quickly realized that I had mistakenly removed one old shoe and one new shoe from my bag. Now I had two left shoes with me. No problem, I can buy another pair at the school.
I get to the school, explain my dilema and ask Mrs. Yoo if they have any size 43's. She goes to check. About 5 minutes later she returns. She was able to find two size 43 shoes.
I'm sure some of you sense where this is going.
That's right, they were both left shoes. I had available to me no less than 4 left-footed shoes.
Let me tell you, having one shoe that is backward is *not* the way to practice Martial Arts.
