Went to the Cape on the weekend. It was kind of fun. For some reason my mom's new bf got a digital camera, which he definitely didn't need to do. That will be kind of fun.
I saw Spiderman 3 finally, and it was pretty much everything I expected, plus a little more. It was definitely much darker and moodier than the previous two films. Spiderman is one of the only big comic book movie franchises that impresses me at all, and it greatly impresses me that the movies got better with each subsequent sequel. The first two movies built so well towards the plot of revenge, redemption, and the ultimate power of true friendship and forgiveness and love. Even with many more snazzy effects than the other two films, it did it in such a way that it wasn't too cheesy or fake feeling, the way pirates 2 was to me. Yes it is a superhero movie, but the acting was also impressive as it was in the first two films. Another special appearance by Stan Lee was pretty cool as well. If you haven't seen it yet go see it ASAP. It has a very clear cut ending without a need for another sequel, but has a possible opening for one. If there is a fourth, it better be the last, or it will just be doomed to be a money grubbing scheme, like the second fantastic four movie is going to be. The only reason I would desire more is because they have been so good, but i am afraid if they keep it going, it will just get kind of dusty, and 3 is a very good number.
I had a job interview today at the SEVCA good buy store which i think is a really cool place by the way, check it out when on elliot street sometime. I hope I get the job, and I think the interview went well. And if I don't get it I hope i get something by next week anyway so my mom can get off of my case. Not a whole lot going on here, but I am working on a play, and it seems to be coming along nicely. I usually abandon projects in the middle of them, and I think I should stop doing that as I have too much time on my hands as it is. If anybody wants to hang out just let me know. I am hopefully visiting Karen really soon.
