First and foremost, the thing that really grinds my gears the most right now is the virginia tech massacre. Two people get shot, and the police dismiss it by saying, oh it must be an isolated incident, or we think he left campus. Whether or not that is what they thought, they didn't see fit to try and figure out where the gunman went before he could shoot again? Only last year, Virginia tried passing a law that would allow students to carry concealed weapons on college campuses. This is scary shit, and I am glad that was never allowed, but the existing gun laws in Virginia, or lack thereof is what caused this tragedy. These laws state that you don't need a license to own or fire a gun, anybody can get a conceal and carry permit, and you are only limited to one gun a month. What's also weird is the fact that this kid bought one of his guns at a pawn shop, why would guns be sold at such a place? The store owner that sold the glock to him, was not aroused to suspicion, yet what normal person would be buying a glock of all things? My heart goes out to those who died, and those who lost loved ones, and just those who go to Virginia Tech in general. And i also have to say whoever made the joke in the bathroom here at keene state is not funny.
