Lots and Lots of Writing

I don't think there has been a day this year (well perhaps when I was in NY in October) when I have been this against doing work. Too bad I have so much of it. I mean, "it'll get done" like I always say," but man o man, I just wish I didn't have this work to do.

My life has been positively amazing over the past few days. Friday night was our first date and he took me to the North End, where we "coincidentally" ran into Megan and Hilary. But it was only "coincidentally." Then we went to watch the BU beach movie, except they moved it inside. So we still spread out the blanket in Metcalf hall, only we didn't get soaked by the rain. It was such a nice evening/night and I still don't think I can believe this is all real. It's like I'm supposed to wake up and go back to how my life was before, and of course I don't want to, but this is real!

Yesterday morning Allie, Melissa and I went to the pass-in-review ROTC ceremony. Allie went to relive her army brat childhood :), Melissa to find a man in uniform, and I of course to observe the surroundings (actually I had to go for my article). Anyway, it was a really cool ceremony with an eleven-cannon salute (complete with a girl yelling out her Sleeper window "We were sleeping!") and a lot of marching. Minus the bits of political propaganda in the speaker's remarks, the whole event was really cool.

Last night was first seder and a bunch of us went to Allie's aunt and uncle's house in Waltham. I felt like they should be my family or something because they are very similar. And the food....OMG, the food was so good! Hehe. The charoset tasted just like the way my mom makes it.

Now I have to get back to all my writing, and get ready for second seder tonight :)
