Hacking

I haven't addressed the big issue yet of restructuring this novel, instead I am piddling around at the water's edge reworking the first few chapters. Each time I read it, I hack away a bit more. I think I may end up with about a sentence a chapter at this rate.
It is a way of easing myself in and at least I seem to have stopped being quite so angry.Haven't done anything about the adult novel or the Phd but I think I have to deal with one problem at a time.
