Because I'm "crazy"
I realize that I say that a lot in my enteries, but my youngest sister is always telling me this. . . though I think that she means it affectionately. Anyways, because I have a little bit of crazy in me and I have a song for almost everything, I thought that I'd share a song I've been jokingly singing for six days.
It started Thursday night after the Mentalist finale (I think that all my stories will be starting out like that for a while). It was 11:45 my time and I was in the kitchen with my mother and talking to her about the finale while I got water to take my allergy pill. Then I had this moment and I started to sing "I made it through the rain. . ." I paused and smiled at my mom and said, "you know, the rain was the spoilers?" and then I started to sing again "I made it through the rain and kept my point of view" to which I said, "you know, my point of view about Jane and Lisbon?"
She laughed, which was my objective in the first place and sent me off to bed while I belted out the two lyrics over and over again.
Yes, I have a weird sense of humor. . .
But at least I'm one of the people who made it through the proverbial rain before jumping ship or dumping my absolute favorite show prematurely.
Maybe it has something to do with the fact that I am sickingly optimistic.
But this is one time that it worked for me. So, maybe I won't give up on it anytime soon.
