Someone Like You
there is nothing better than sitting on a thursday morning (well now afternoon) in a recliner w/ a blanket and watching old movies where the guy gets the girl in the end...or should i say the girl gets the guy...is there a real difference or does one of the sexes benefit more? long story short its the ultimate way to end the summer. well i was watchin old movies but now i'm watchin Someone Like You...well whether they are new or old it is important that they are chick flicks....ahh i watched The Caveman's Valentine and thats not one ...o well point being watchin movies lol.
i love Someone Like You because of two scenes. one where she is an emotional wreck and talkes to Hugh Jackman (well kinda talking) about this guy that was dating her then went back to his former gf (which happens to be her boss) but shes devistated and he tells her "maybe we hold on so hard cause we dont belive a miracle like that can happen twice"...its such a perfect line and so true. the other scene is where her sister has a miscariage and she comes to the hospital and lays with her in the bed crying with her, both looking terrible and the husband walks in and says "look at my wife, have you ever seen anyone so beautiful" ahh i cry everytime. its so perfect.
