Florida is nice, but not as a result of its weather. It's muggy and hot and just plain old yucky. We arrived at the Palm Beach Int'l Airport around 12:30 and then picked up our rental car. We drove into Jupiter and it would not stop pouring rain. It was so scary, tropical depression sucks. We drove to my Aunt's house which is very nice. She was upset with us for some lame reason because she thought we had an early flight and that we'd be eating lunch together. Wrong. So we ventured a few miles to the hotel and ate in their restaurant. Very good. The hotel is so nice and it makes up for the weather. We went to dinner at my Aunt's house. They made steak for the meat-eaters and I had some gaspacho (sp) that my Aunt made for me, so good and some salad. I met all of my little cousins, so funny. Tomorrow Amanda and my mom are visiting my cousin Michael (RIP)'s grave because he died during the time that my brother was having his bar mitzvah and so we couldn't go to his funeral and years later when we finally made it back here, my mom finds it necessary to visit the grave. I never met Michael, so I don't feel the connection, and I'm awful in that scene. Later I think we're doing lots more family stuff and shopping (of course). It was weird to see my cousin Matthew and my cousins Casey and Jackie, I haven't seen them since they were all so young. Casey and Jackie have a younger sister now who is just adorable. I feel like I've missed so much. But as opposed to my dad's family and my second cousins on that side, these cousins are like actually interested in our lives and look up to us. Cute. I'm excited to see Tamara on Friday, too. The Levines come down Thursday, not soon enough.
