Man I am so bored with the America's Next Top Model judging. They don't even know what they want from a girl. "Oooh, yes, i like that vulnerable look!" and then in panel "you just look sad and beat down." or "that just looks cheesy" on set and later "OH FIERCE." Honestly the judges pretty much just interpret the girls the way it suits them any given moment and it is the most confusing shit I have ever seen on tv...one minute they like a girl's awkward angles which look couture and the next they say she'll just never make it because she hasn't got the self awareness.
The last episode drove me up the wall because they talk all the time about the importance of girls being able to do 'different looks' and then they gripe because someone 'isn't keeping a continuity from photo to photo' due to her diversity. Seriously. Either you get someone who can change expression constantly, or you don't (like Kate Moss who is famous for pretty much one facial expression for like a hundred years now, the crackhead), and fashion is completely, completely subjective. One person's gorgeous is going to be someone else's hideous, every single time. Modeling and fashion critique is so two years ago. Give up on your sad attempts to mold unique looking girls into mute unrecognizable groupies, Tyra, you tired old one-look pony.
