TOTAL FIRE BAN!
Recently we stayed at Teewha/Double Island and when we drove onto the car ferry, huge signs in RED read "TOTAL FIRE BAN ON ISLAND"
When we got off the ferry, more signs in RED "TOTAL FIRE BAN" More signs all the way up the beach too.
In recent visits we would love to light a bonfire at night and toast marshmellows or just the ambiance gazing into the fire. But, not this time!
It makes me so mad that people just don't abide by the rules and are so stupid to still light a fire even though the signs are there for a reason. It's so dry there (everywhere in fact) and these people should be penalized.
