I've decided not to broadcast my family issues on lj. Needless to say, I have family that I am less than proud of being related to. Seeing them Sunday wasn't as difficult as I expected it to be. I have lost a lot of the bitterness I once felt against them, which I am very glad of. Still, I would choose not to be around them, if at all possible. Involving children in the conflict may have changed things. That and the fact that I love and miss my Uncle Tim, no matter who he is married to. Why does family have to be so difficult?
I went to see The Chronicles of Narnia last night and LOVED IT! I haven't read the books since I was in elementary school, but, from what I remember, they did an amazing job adapting it to a movie. Unfortunately I went with Ben, who had NEVER read the books. He was distracted by people talking during the movie that he had a difficult time getting into it. I was so enthralled in the movie that I didn't even notice the disturbances. I highly recommend it to anyone who loved the books as a child.
