Last night my family went to see fireworks in Woonsocket. It was quite the adventure. We stopped at a gas station because we didn't know where the park was, and the cashier told us there were 3 parks by the name of World War II in Woonsocket. Big help. So then the fireworks started, 15 minutes early. We just drove around for a while following them. Then we come to this area where there were no trees and we could see them perfectly. So we pulled over and were about to get our chairs out of the car when my sister's friend goes "Guys what if there are ax-murderers in that house" She was just kidding, but then all of us look at the house we're parked next to, and we see the scariest abandoned house ever. It looked like the perfect haunted house. Then we look all around us and see that we are surrounded by abandoned, wicked shady houses and factories. So we drove out of there pretty fast. And we ended up in a gas station parking lot, which was not too much better, as far as shadiness goes. But the fireworks were good (nothing in comparision to Kid's Day though).
This morning my Dad and I were on our way to Dunkin Donuts, and we drive around the corner in my neighborhood and we see my neighbor's house. Their lawn was covered with all sorts of 'For Sale' signs, 'Vote for so and so' signs, lawn ornaments, and all sorts of stuff from peoples yards. It was pretty funny.
And I'll be spending the day in Franklin. So happy fourth everyone!
