i bought bob dylan's biography, "No Direction Home". its staggering. i knew it would be. someone with that insight and talent is so inspiring; his lyrics saturate so many different emotions at once and make you feel like you can tap a reservoir somewhere deep inside and pull out a song with meaning...and yet any thought i have pales in comparison to something as poignant as "blowing in the wind", "a pawn in this game" or "a hard rain's a-gonna fall". absolute art.
