(no subject)
i have been here at work for an hour and it seems the whole of shady canyon has figured out that sunday morning is indeed for sleeping. so the morning sports news is humming in the background, the sunrise (spectacularly bright this morning) is lighting everything up gold inside the fitness center and i have my tea, my mini heater and temporary solitude. life feels a little more free than it has felt for the past little while, perhaps due to the a moment of profound clarity that passed through me just now. i wonder when i lost that viewpoint to begin with? i know why i am getting it back, but the "catch 22" of it all is pretty ironic. ha...amusing right now. perhaps not later.
wow i am in an exceptional mood. thoughts of italy are comsuming me, what with the footage and accompanying history we get with the torino olymics, and my tues/thurs italian class. i cannot wait to go. maybe ill just stay. wouldnt that be something; fly off to italy and settle in for a few years, finish school, became a natural with the language, visit any city that strikes my fancy, and soak up a comletely different lifestyle. gaaawwwd how fun.
