This seems oddly politically tone-deaf - I’m astonished that the Republican House is refusing to pass such a thing (it passed unanimously in the Senate):
No House resolution honoring military’s bin Laden mission. The house GOPers may have seen it as a partisan slap to the administration’s face, but I guarantee you that’s not how the brass is going to see it.
Is anyone surprised?
House panel’s Republicans vote to delay action on overhaul rule. In other words, GOP House members are dragging their feet on enacting regulation on derivatives. You know, where the entire financial structure of this country crashed because of them? I swear.
I want to point out the 16 House democrats that voted to strip women of their rights to healthcare:
Congressman Altmire Votes FOR HR3.
Nancy Pelosi gave a fabulous speech and lays it all out on why HR3 is so bad for women. It’s autocaptioned, but mostly makes sense, and there’s a summary transcript given at the link as well:

It’s a detailed background on the past 20 years of the marriage equality fight, and in it you can see where I was comfing from in initially being anti (or better, indifferent) marriage equality, so long as the DP and CU could be made available. I have since changed my mind, but the roots of all that can be seen clearly in this excellent article (first in a series) by Chris Geidner:
