I know I don’t need to convince any of you regulars about the importance of captioning! But I thought this might make a handy reference to pass around to others who might need gentle nudging. So go forth and spread.
(There are also other uses for captions, such as making the audio content searchable, since Google search will include matches against captioned content as well. Imagine pulling up GWtW by typing in “Frankly, my dear…”
)
Not to mention that, in the U.S., this allows you to be in compliance with the ADA if you are a company…
