now let's see here. i should be asleep, or at least working on a flier. however, i have lost all of my creative drive. it is hot here and my computer is providing no comfort in the fact that it is 112 degrees.

i should go running tomorrow. lets see if i actually get up before 6 am tomorrow. ha, i would love to see it happen. i would have to deem myself champion of the world.

anywho. this city i live in, it is very interesting. you chicago hipsters are laughable compared to the assholes that run rampant in the streets of williamsburg. last night was hilarious. this chick was wearing this awful (and I mean absolutely laughably wrong) green knit one piece jumper/coverall deal. she looked ridiculous and if the lighting wasn't so shitty i would have taken a goddamn picture and posted it here. she was trying way too hard. oh. good. lord. just as i was snickering at the girl and her scrawny boyfriend, he gets into an verbal altercation with a group of dirty hipsters walking by and then stormed out of the place with his chick. i can only imagine they were making fun of her outfit. it was HILARIOUS. anyway, i think there are gangs in williamsburg based on your hipster fashion genre/decade of inspiration. there was too much going on last night. everything from the 60's trapeze silhouette to the seventies hots pants to the 80's slinky day glow knitwear. what the hell is going on here? there is not absolute direction. anyone can design because there is no trend. one large melting pot of fashion. they look to a generation for influence and can't find their own voice, except for maybe their hairdo-yet everyone including 35 year old new moms have the half blond/ half black skunk do.
