Warm weather in the future?
Things have been going smoothly lately. Homework has been the highlight of my night life recently (other than Billy). As the year goes along I feel like I'm getting more homework than I ever have before. I guess that's just how the story goes though. I've made my way to softball conditioning a couple times after school, but not as much as I should have. Work was conflicting in the weeks prior, but now I've just gone into a lazy mode. I really should get out and do something. Try-outs are next Monday but I'm confident I'll do alright.
Billy is home for Spring Break and it's nice to have him around. It's a good feeling knowing he's just down the road at any given time. He suprised me and showed up at work on Saturday which was really sweet of him. He always finds a way to make me smile and feel special.
Tim's qualified himself for state wrestling finals on Sunday for his out of school wrestling team. I'm so proud of him. He's going to kick some ass on Sunday. I'm really excited for him!
I can't wait for warm weather to get here. It seems like winter is never ending this year. Maybe it's like this every year and I just don't realize it. The weather has been playing tricks on us and it's not very nice. Sun, sun, Mr. Golden Sun, please shine down on, please shine down on me.
I came down stairs this morning and looked on the counter and found one of the coolest gifts my parents have ever give me; a plane ticket to Paris. We're going to Europe the last day of school for 16 days! My dad worked everything out and we fly out the last day of school and stay for 12 days. I'm so excited because we get to go to the 24 hours of Le Mans race as well as go to Italy, Germany and Switzerland. It will be a great way to start the summer with the family. I couldn't believe it when I saw the tickets on the counter this morning. I'm getting excited and it's still 3 months away.
On to finishing my homework.
