Is homosexuality genetic, more biological.....is it learned...is it enviromental...is it passed on, it is a disease.....is it something that is cureable?...

id have to go with genetic/biological. i think your enviornment plays a part in how long you stay in the closet. if you have been taught gay is bad, or have a very religious family/background, live in a smaller more close minded community. theres a thousand different scenarios but i think you get the drift.

as far as it being a choice, i have a friend who has said on different occasions that she believes she is gay by choice and that people who are gay can decide not to be. this statement is usually followed by the rest of us throwing things at her because its such an inane statement with nothing to support it(plus she changes her stance on it frequently). i don't think anyone, given the choice, would choose to be gay. after all not knowing what being gay were like. its definately not a disease, nor a mental illness. and it needs not be cured.
now, being queer as i am, and knowing what its like, and then knowing the straight alternative, i can only say who would want to choose straight! being gay comes with good and bad, and me personally, i say the good far outweighs the bad. but its my opinion based on my experiences.
