Me and My Snow Girl for a Day
by Alice H.
Yesterday I build a snow girl. But when I finished my snow girl I got cold even with my big pink scarf. So I trudged inside. When I got inside my dad had made hot cocoa for me. That night I went to bed but when I woke up my snow girl was right next to me. She said "Hi" to me. I thought I'd name her Taylor. I said "My name is Alice." Then I said "lets go get some breakfast." Taylor said "what do you have?" Well I said "how about cereal?" Taylor said "ok." So I poured some milk and cereal and I put a little bit of sugar. Then I had mine. After we built a snow man. Then we watched little rascals it was funny. Then we had lunch. After we played twister with Sophie. Then mom called us for dinner Taylor got near the hot stuff and melted.

Rudolph The Red Nosed Snowman
by Alyssa S.
One day I got up. I leaped out of bed, jumped down the stairs, grabbed my pink snowsuit. I ran out the door. The snowman I made yesterday was waiting for me. He said, "Good morning." I said, "What?" The snowman said, "Good morning." I said, "What's your name?" The snowman said, "Rudolph."
Rudolph was wearing blue jeans and a blue shirt. Rudolph said, "I like blue and I have a red nose." The snowman said, "Let's go to Japan." I said, "But I cannot speak in Japanese." The snowman said, "I can. If you can't, we'll go to Alaska." In Alaska we played tag with the big blue whales. Then we flew home. I said, "Let's eat." So we had some ham sandwiches.
After that we traveled to the moon, the future, Egypt. We ate a dinner of apples. Then I said good night to the snowman. The next day we played. Then the day after that for every winter. Rudolph left for the Arctic when springtime came.
A Day With My Snowman
by Sari F.
One day when I woke up my cat started to meow. I was wondering why. So I looked out my window and I saw my snowman. I walked outside and scared my cat away. I got in my clothes and ran outside. I brought the snowman inside and we ate breakfast. It was a girl baby and her name was Lilly. After breakfast we colored. We had fun. Then she got sleepy. She took a nap. When she woke up we went outside. We made more snowmen. Big ones, little ones and mom and dad. They came to life too. My brother made some too. My babysitter came over. Me my brother and my babysitter made lots of beds for all the snowmen. The next day they melted and some didn't. We built more and more. It took all day. I took her to the zoo I took her to the park and I took her to the aquarium. The next morning Lilly had melted and all the rest of the snowmen.
My Snow Man

One day I woke up and when I looked out my window I saw that the snowman I made last night had come to life. I named it Saturn. I scurried down stairs, got dressed and scurried to play a snow ball fight, and I won because Saturn's snow balls got stuck on him. Then he took me to the North Pole to see Santa because that night was no ordinary night it was Christmas eve! When we got there Santa gave me a humongous box he said "do not open this box until it is Christmas". And Santa took me and my snow man home. On Christmas I tore open the box inside was a remote control train, then I ran outside to thank Saturn but all that I found was green grass everywhere and on the side of the yard was a small lump of snow and in it was two pieces coal an orange carrot and a small brown hat. This is all that is left of my snow man.

I was having fun playing with Michelle. But before I went to bed, Michelle melted. Then Zack came in. He jumped all over Michelle's puddle.
Me and My Snowbaby
By Allison S.
Yesterday I built a snowbaby named Angel. This morning I saw Angel in my bed. Angel said I want to go to the playground. I said, it is too snowy. Angel said, it is never too snowy. I said, okay. So we went to the playground. Angel said, I want to go to the movies. I thought for moment. There was nothing wrong with that. So I said okay. I'm hungry, let's get some food. Angel said ice cream. I said, it is too cold for ice cream. Angel said I want ice cream. I said okay. I thought for a while, for a snowbaby she is very picky and greedy. Then Angel said, I'm exhausted. Let's go home and sleep on your nice feather bed. I said, Okay. But on our way home Angel saw somebody sledding down a hill. Then Angel said I want to do that too.
JACK FROST
By: Douglas F.
I was going to sleep one night. I galloped outside and I made a snowman. I went to bed and I woke up in the morning and my snowman came to life. He struggled to my door. I quickly moved back a step. I said,"Hi," and he said, "Hi," back. I said," I'll name you Jack Frost." We played a hockey game. I could not believe my eyes he shot the puck 100 miles per hour. Some bullies came up and we both screamed," Ahhhhhhhh." We got on my sled and we got some snowballs. They got snowballs too. I used Jack for my shield. He did not care if he got hit because he was made out of snow. He got two balls in the chest, one on one side and one on the other. Jack was melting so we went up to the mountains. Jack melted and I found out that he was my dad. My dad died a year ago. I felt very sad and I went home.

Flying Red Cold Raspberry Nose
by Jonathan L.
One very very cold day I woke up to the noise of something plowing quickly through the snow. Then I jumped out of bed and started to dress. I ran down stairs as fast as I could go! With the thought that it was my snowman. After I opened up the door I slammed it shut and ran outside with joy...my snowman was right in front of me. He jumped on me. I fell down and said can you get off of me please. After I got up he said get on my back. So I got on his back. Then he started to fly into the clouds. The moon was almost crescent over the stars. My snowman dived over the sea and under an enormous blue bridge. Then he brought me over to the red school. Some of the teachers stared at me. I waved at them. The next place he brought me to was in the woods. I saw one doe and two deer. Then I fell asleep. It felt like I was falling into my bed. When I got up and looked out the window all of what I saw of my snowman was a hat and some coal.
