The TeeVee Lies!

Despite what the commercials say, a super-dry pad does not stay dry after being immersed in water, such as a full toilet bowl.

Just thought someone might want to know.

*lolz*

It was a clean one, and I hadn't peed in the toilet, so it wasn't like I was getting all gross fishing it out.

I just thought it was funny.

...isn't that even more "TMI." If the problem was the excess amount of information, shouldn't adding more information make things worse ;)

I'm female, I've had to use tampons and pads/"napkins" (*thinks that is the worst name in the world for something you stick to your underwear*) so I don't actually have a problem with it. I just hoped a melodramatic response to an odd and potentially disturbing entry would brighten up your night.

Warning. Tape a pad to your forehead. dr_fruikenstein March 19 2007, 16:22:37 UTC
If you think that's TMI, you should try sitting in a truckstop restaurant with a bunch of co-workers when the biggest hillbilly of the bunch comes back from the washroom just as the food is being brought to the table, proclaiming loudly, "You should have seen the size of that turd".
Only two of us dug into our food right away after that one.
Very little phases me. Just one of the bennnies of having EMT's for friends.

well that is a downer...
it's ok though, i can still hold onto the dream that tampons really can plug the leak in a boat in a time of emergency.

hehe
