went and saw the new fantastic 4, way better than the first one, not to mention the pretty good graphics, loved the preview for golden compass, daniel craig and nicole kidman looked good for the roles but the armored polar bear freaking amazing looking, and he had this awesome sortof scottish/viking accent and a really badass attitude, actually

Golden Compass I might see at some point, but ever since LOTR/Narnia there seem to be a LOT (by which I mean 3) of similar movies.

Graphics are generally real-time. You're talking about pre-rendered CG. :D

cg just stands for computer graphics erich so graphics is correct in that sense, also the colloquial meaning of graphics does't make any distinction, and i don't particularly take kindly to people telling me what to say when it makes no practical differece

It's technically the right word to use, but CG is used for pre-rendered sequences and graphics are used for real time stuff. They just are.
