Writer's Block: On Character Preferences
I like a lot of different fictional characters, but my favorite, by far, is Hoban "Wash" Washburne of the Firefly Series, and the following feature film, Serenity. Wash is the pilot on a transport spaceship, called Serenity. He is the comedic relief of the ship's crew, and sometimes called the "voice of reason". Wash is married to First mate, Zoe Alleyne. I love Wash because he has an amazing sense of humor and his character is just endlessly loveable.
A character that i don't like...........John Locke, from the tv series, LOST. Locke always spoke his mind on the tv show, and although he sounded as though he knew what he was talking about, he wasn't always right. About halfway through the show, he got hung up on his lack of faith and religion, and was often presenting his religious ideas to the other survivors, not only irking them, but myself, as i watched the show.
