--3 years later--
Tegoshi arranged the flower bouquette nicely near the tomb after cleaning it a bit. It took him a while staring at it with a daring look while his right fingers touch the name crafted on the stone. There were this nails piercing his heart when he did it. It reminded him how he was not supposed to feel happiness anymore. He's a sinner after all.
It was not the ending he wanted. But then, he didn't have the power to make the decision. He was weak, powerless, and pathetic. Pathetic enough until he decided to run away from the reality, from everything. That was just how coward he is.
"3 years are so long, Ryo..." he mumbled while staring at the tomb with his pathetic look. Tegoshi knew that no matter what, he couldn't turn back time. Ryo was now here, lying below this place. And it was all because of him.
For a moment, Tegoshi closed his eyes, trying to remember what had happened again. He had vowed that he wouldn't forget it no matter what. He didn't need any comfort, he would disappear to somewhere nobody knew him, and he wouldn't make any close contact with others anymore. That was how he decided to punish his own self. Each of the incidents... He kept it all inside his brain. The first ritual he did each morning for these three years was closing his eyes as the images eventually started popping up to him. That way he would be able to treasure all of his memory. At least someone still remembered Ryo.
A sigh escaped his mouth as he opened both of his eyes again. It had been the third time for him to visit this graveyard, and he still couldn't enjoy being here at all. Tegoshi didn't attend the funeral because he had decided to disappear from everyone, while secretly, he paid a visit here two days after the funeral. Since then, it was once a year.
Another sigh signaled that he had finished his business here. Slowly, he stood up and brushed the dust in his pants away. A small smile was forced upon his mouth as he sent his farewell to the tomb. It would be another year until he would visit this place again, another long year. He didn't mind it at all, that was just the way of living he had chosen.
He was completely unaware of the unexpected surprise.
His eyes were eventually widened when he saw the familiar figure suddenly stood right in front of him when he had just turned around. Shocked? It was more than that. Tegoshi was at a complete loss of what to say. Just when he thought that he had used to the loneliness, he had to meet him, again...
A small smile was shown before the tall guy simply walked past Tegoshi straight to the tomb and stared at it. Tegoshi was left frowned and was only able to look at him in a surprise.
"So, how are you?" the voice he had missed so much, it was heard again at last. The same voice which gave him the comfortable feeling.
"Fine..." Tegoshi nodded weakly. "H-How..."
"Purely luck." Yamapi replied shortly. "No, I was lying. I followed you how about that?"
He must have been hearing it wrong. Tegoshi pushed that thought inside his mind. But seeing the serious face the older man had made him wondered it.
"Isn't it the time for you to stop mourning over this? To stop thinking that all of it were your faults?" Yamapi questioned. "Do you really think that this is what Nishikido intended? Don't you think that you're actually making him look even worse by this?"
Tegoshi's body was shaking hard as he heard that. His promise... He just couldn't decide which one was the correct one now. What should he do?
"He loves you, and so do I. It hurts us to see you this pathetic."
Some droplets of water fell down, followed by the sky turning into dark again. Tegoshi could feel how he was slowly pulled into the bigger man's embrace.
"So, will you return back?"
A weak nod was the only answer Tegoshi gave as tears fell down from his eyes, just like how the rain was pouring down again. For once, he finally knew that he wouldn't hate the rain anymore...
