I like subtext. It's fun! I like ambiguous situations, which lend themselves to multiple readings. I like to think my writing works without me telling people *how* to read it, and if people sometimes get less from my writing than I hoped, sometimes they get more than I intended, and that rocks pretty hard.
For this reason, I've stopped tagging things as 'gen' or 'het' or 'slash,' and instead am just tagging content I think might be somewhat disturbing.
But what I want to know is, is this working? Do you feel this system lets you find what you want? Does it let you avoid what you want to avoid? Do you disregard tags anyway?
I'd like to hear from everyone on this one. I'd especially like to hear from people without live journals, even if you've never left a comment here before. You can respond anonymously, or whatever.
