My headcanons
I don't usually have really firm convictions about characters' sexuality. If an author wants to persuade me, I'm persuadable. But I have realized that I do have pretty firm convictions about some characters.
1. Cecil Baldwin has never had a sexual relationship with a vagina-having person. I think the best way to die would be… swallowed by a giant snake. Going feet-first and whole into a slimy maw would give your life perfect symmetry.
This, to me? Does not say this is a dude who associates a vulva with a party.
And I do love the trans!Carlos fanon going around, and I think Cecil would also love it, but I think it would be a first time for him dealing with that conformation of parts. (I mean, he might easily have dealt with tentacles in the past. But nothing yonic.)
2. I've actually come across several fic that posit a heterosexual or homosexual Stiles and this actually blows my mind because my headcanon for him is that he is currently stewing in so many hormones that he once accidentally masturbated to Coach Finstock, and is never going to to tell Scott the things he has thought about Melissa. He once told Scott that Dr. Deaton could give him a physical any time, and now he's no longer allowed to talk to Scott about any thing he thinks about Deaton that isn't related to an actual veterinary or mystical problem.
Now, I could buy that he might be emotionally attracted more to women (or, I guess, theoretically, men, but: Lydia) but I really do have in my head that he, like, once had an erotic dream about the camaro, and then woke up, and then finished spanking it to the camaro. I just can't quite wrap my head around him not being attracted to an entire gender.
I mean, that said, I'm totally willing to read fic that goes against these, but I'll have to stop and readjust my brainmeats.
