Discussing with Te the process of raising awareness about discrimination, and how it seems you're always meeting, confronting, and challenging the same person who always uses the same five arguments as to why it's not a problem, not that bad of a problem, not their problem, and geeze, why are you so angry? I keep on finding myself thinking of this quote:
*"My God! What can we do?"
"Not a damn thing, unless we want to start boarding their ships and strangling the bastards by hand, one at at time. Attractive, but impractical."
--Shards of Honour, by Lois McMaster Bujold
*Context: Basically, the enemy has discovered deflector shields and overthrown all conventional space warfare.**
**except this is vastly simplified for the purpose of getting to the quote, rather than giving you the novel. Read it! It's good fun, and the author is a fan turned pro, and fan friendly.
