As a classicist, it makes me cry. Tears! Tears of sadness, down my face!
Someday I'll sit down and force myself to read through the whole thing so I can make a proper rant of it, but the art, the basic archeological inacuracies, rapes my brain and I must go and read many a volume of Age of Bronze to cleanse it.

They deflect the blows of their enemies with their penises, which sway gently in the breeze. And while Miller does get a few neat, minor historical details correct (i.e., the Spartans brushing out their hair), he forgets basic things like, oh, HOW A PHALANX WORKS.
And Xerxes! I won't even talk about Xerxes, as it makes me all frothy.
