What's up with my foot.
So I had my follow-up with Matt Lauer (aka hunky foot doctor) today and together we arrived at some conclusions. He came to the conclusion that my foot is not broken after all and that I am suffering from Morton's neuroma, an inflamed and pinched nerve. Huh.
This led me to the conclusion that, although quite handsome, he is no Matt Lauer, because Matt Lauer would have gotten my diagnosis right in the first *&#(@_ place!
Apparently the treatment would have been the same. Only now, instead of my foot getting progressively better, the bone mending and the pain subsiding, it may (or may not) get better. And if it doesn't, there are several completely scary things they can do involving needles and cortizone and alchohol and freezing and scalpels that may (or may not) fix it ... ever.
And that is why I am sad today.
