my world wind tour of the northeast/midwest is coming to an end. whew. i'm happy about it.
went from hartford to cleveland to souhbend to hartford to syracuse to oklahoma city and soon to hartford.
met this girl amy in oklahoma. she's a little insane but cool. she'll be in nyc in a few months so we're gonna try and hook up when she gets in.
i want to say school is tiring but i haven't been there in like two weeks. after a year of sitting in the office except fo r a few trips, they decided that they want to throw everything at me this year. just the time i'm taking two classes.
i just got an email from my boss about spending a week in tuscon. and the thailand trip is coming up around the bend. man, when they care about your career development it makes like so much less "not hard".
you know you pray for it and get it, then wonder how you're gonna handle it. just one day at a time. that's it.
have to head back up to syr next weekend for the wedding. should be good times.
someone told me that when you start school you have to expect that your performance eval will get lower. its just how it is. you can't give 100% all the time. i thought that was crap, but now i see that is undeniable true. if you have any momentum in the mba program then work is either slow, or slightly on the back burner at times. so, since my momentum with the program is slow, is obvious work isn’t on the back burner.
i’m going to have to get off my fix for nothing but A’s. just can't work that way. not if i want to finish the degree this century. And I'll have to not take some opportunities at work. it'll all have to be judged on a case by case basis, but that's just how it looks.
ok, time for more work.
